Didn’t that used to have something to do with whips and chains? These guys can crack off an SMS message in about 30 seconds. I think it took me about five minutes to muck around with the keypad and get the text that I was after, but I am finally getting with the times and learning how to use some of this basic technology. I don’t have a cell phone yet, but when I do get one, I’ll know how to send SMS messages. Of course Barry had to record this historic event.

Well its great to see that my two favourite Americans are continuing to break the norm and sterotype of Americans and seeing that in fact, contrary to belief there is life outside the good old USA..... and yes we have advanced technology, clever minds with ideas, embrace capitalism but have a social and stoical concience also....
Beth and Dan embrace the word Global and what it is like to see the World from anothers point of view....
I for instance have done Europe and Asia and am just back from Texas which quite frankly blew my mind and id like to think took the shackles off my negative perceptions as to what the USA has to offer the rest of the World.... Quite frankly i never met nicer, smarter, friendlier people on all my travels.... and as they kept telling me they are texan not american and reminded me of their history... :) From business meetings to bars i was shocked by the upfront and willingness to converse and take interest in others views.
Austin is a melting pot of youth, music, innovation, culture, business, big cars, great food, people with global views and compassion, Michael Dell, Lance Armstrong and searing HEAT!!!!!
Has the USA learnt from Iraq, Chinas economic surge and Katrina!!!!!!!!!!!
I think yes and wait with anticpated breath what this melting pot of States has to offer the World over the next 100 years.... Lets not forget what they did over the last 100....

The founding fathers may stop turning in their graves and be proud once again...
I raise my glass for a toast to the Lone Star State and its people!!! Everbody in the World deserves their day in the sun and its harder to be at the top and fall and rise again
