The first one to send in a .WAV file with the wicked witch of the East's ride from The Wizard of Oz gets treated to a Dutch coffee when they arrive ;-)
We've been corresponding with the current tenants of our rental in Haarlem and they will be leaving behind their bikes for us to have. This is actually a pretty "sporty" model for Beth....shocks, lights, fenders, and a basket to carry our little dog Sage around in (yea, right!).
We’re still taking our bikes, so that will give us four for guests to use. You can also see a first glimpse of a little bit of the back yard and shed at the new house in Haarlem
You'd be amazed at what people carry on their bikes! I've seen people just riding with one hand on the handlebar and the other holding an umbrella. Although most people wear special rain tarps designed for bikes that allow them to pedal. See all the fenders and mud guards on the bike? Once it stops raining, you don't have to worry about the water splashing up on your clothes.
